"Working with local manufacturers we are uniquely equipped to provide the right advanced skills training."

Why MSI

The Manufacturing Skills Institute (MSI) provides advanced training for St. Charles County. MSI helps its students develop the skills and personal characteristics which are necessary to excel in their jobs, take on new or additional responsibilities and move into different jobs. It's your future.

MSI was developed by the Manufacturing Skills Alliance, which is a group of representatives from Partners for Progress, the St. Charles County Department of Workforce Development, Linn State Technical College, St. Charles Community College, Lindenwood University and the St. Charles School District Adult Education Department. A group of St. Charles County's top manufacturing companies make up the Manufacturing Skills Advisory Board, which advises the Manufacturing Skills Alliance on what type of coursework should be offered.

Students may take individual courses, or they may follow a course of study which results in program certification. Classes are offered in the morning or evening to accommodate work schedules.
